7900HT Fast Real - Time PCR System with TaqMan Low Density Array Block
Will be used:
* To integrate molecular and traditional ecosystem measurements for understanding stressor impacts;
* To use gene expression as biomarkers of environmental contaminants
together with traditional function-based biomarkers, which may be used
to validate the toxic mechanisms of the contaminant.
* For investigation of mechanisms of endocrine disruption
The
TaqMan Low Density Array is a micro fluidic card for quantitative
real-time PCR. TaqMan arrays are delivered with TaqMan Gene
Expression Assays pre-loaded into each of the 384 reaction wells
according to the selected format. The TaqMan array is designed for use
on the flexible Applied Biosystems 7900HT Fast Real-Time PCR System
with a 7900HT TaqMan
Veriti Thermal Cycler, 96-Well
DBE_FSUNS possesses relatively
good equipment, and all equipment is available to the researchers of LECOTOX.
